This guy didn't leave us much room in the canal
Cold & Wet Crew
This will be a short blog entry ........ to put it mildly, today sucked!
The rain started shortly after midnight and continued all through the day.  Everything on the boat is soggy and wet, including Charlie and me.
This lakes to locks passage known as the "Great Northeast Journey" is a sportsman's paradise ............ fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking ............ it just doesn't get any better than this, unless it rains.  And rain it did!  There was not another pleasure craft of any variety along our fifty three mile run.  We traveled through nine more locks, for a total of 12, before reaching Lake Champlain.
A Soggy Captain
We ended the day on a high note, hanging out with the locals at the marina bar.  We hope things will improve tomorrow or we might be tempted to take up a hobby where weather is not the defining factor ....... bridge anybody?
